The Chevron Dress by Heidi and Finn

I am loving getting to try these new patterns before they hit the market! (So is my 11yo!) Last night I finished the Chevron Dress by Heidi and Finn. This pattern is super unique! I LOVE the chevron effect created by the dramatic shape of the bottom of the dress. This is a perfect pattern for anyone new to sewing with knits. It has clear instructions and detailed, step-by-step photos, which make it super clear what you need to do in order to make this dress. I should add that I made this dress entirely with my regular sewing machine. NO fancy serger for me because mine is broken, but it was not a problem at all. Here are some modeled pics:
