Color Code Bible--A Rose Academy Review

The Color Code Bible is a hard cover full text Bible, New King James Version translation, that has different verses highlighted by a specific color code. Each color stands for a different topic or theme in the Bible. These seven topics help teach kids spiritual concepts and help them to easily recognize the promises and truths of scripture.

  • Gold: God
  • Navy: sin, evil
  • Red: Jesus
  • Orange: washed clean from sin, new life
  • Green: growth in your new life as a Christian and your faith walk
  • Blue: prayer, praise
  • Purple: heaven

There is also included at the beginning of the Bible, a 62 page study help section which explains each section of the Bible and the color coding system. It also discusses some basic answers to questions like:
  • What is the Bible?
  • Who wrote the Bible?
  • Why should you read the Bible?
  • Why did God send us the Bible?

There are also a few Bible reading plans in this section:
  • Read through the Bible in 365 days
  • Read through Genesis in 90 days
  • Read through Psalms and Proverbs in 30 days
  • 365 daily topical scripture readings
Following the Bible reading plans are a list of all of the verses that are highlighted in the Bible by color.
I like this Bible and think my son will enjoy using it to study from when he works through his Bible lessons in school. I also think it would be helpful for a person who wants to look up specific scripture on a certain topic. You can see that every verse is not highlighted, just specific ones.
